The CitriSurf™ cleaning and passivation process in use at Jeff Bonner R&D, is based on a new technology using citric acid to remove free iron from the surface
of stainless steel and chromium enrich
surface. Stainless steel surfaces can be made highly resistant to corrosion when properly cleaned and passivated prior to use. Organic acid's have been found to be more effective than traditional toxic mineral acids and does not pose the environmental hazards that are present with those of other mineral acids.
